Reaching Baler, Aurora from Baguio City will take approximately 8 hours while if coming from Manila, will take about 6-8 hours. To reach Baler from other cities, it will probably take you 4-5 hours if coming from Urdaneta, 5 hours from Clark area, and 6 hours from Subic.

BY PRIVATE CAR:

If coming from Baguio with private car, you can take TPLEX route then exit to Carmen all the way to San Jose City, Nueva Ecija passing through several towns in Pangasinan (Umingan) and Nueva Ecija (Lupao). From there, the San Jose to Baler Road will pass through the towns of Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija, Alfonso Castaneda in Nueva Vizcaya, and Maria Aurora, Aurora before reaching Baler.

If coming from Manila, take this direction—NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX, from Pura Exit of TPLEX, go all the way to Science City of Munoz, then San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. From there, the San Jose to Baler Road will pass through the towns of Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija, Alfonso Castaneda in Nueva Vizcaya, and Maria Aurora, Aurora before reaching Baler.

*By the time the Central Luzon Expressway is complete you can already take the NLEX-SCTEX-CLEX route, exiting at San Jose exit.

If coming from Subic-Clark area, take SCTEX-TPLEX route, then follow directions as stated above.

BY COMMUTE

If coming from Manila, you can ride Genesis bus bound to Baler (roughly 6 hours), with its terminal in Cubao. Otherwise, you will have to ride buses that pass through the city of Cabanatuan, and from Cabanatuan, ride buses bound to Baler. Five Star Bus and Victory Liner have routes passing through Cabanatuan. You can also ride UV Express in Cabanatuan Terminal.

If coming from Baguio, you can ride a non-aircon bus at the Slaughter House Compound (Lizardo Bus) that goes directly to Baler, Aurora. Other wise you need to ride UV Express bound to Cabanatuan, then from there, ride bus or UV Express bound to Baler, Aurora. Both routes, either Baguio-Baler or Manila-Baler, roughly takes 8 hours.

On going back home from Baler, ride Genesis Bus (to Manila) or Lizardo Trans (to Baguio). For people going back to Baguio from Baler, we do suggest you take the last trip nonaircon bus of Lizardo Trans. Even though it’s nonaircon, you will just sleep inside the bus and not be hassled with cutting your trip to Cabanatuan then Baguio.

HOW TO GO TO BALER TOURIST SPOTS

Once you reach Baler, you can already actually have your walk tour to the different tourist attractions. We do recommend you to hire trike drivers accredited by their local government as tourist guides too. You can already visit in Museo de Baler, Baler Catholic Church, Quezon Ancestral House and Rolling Stores since these Baler tourist spots are very near each other.

Sabang Beach however is a few minutes away Ho from downtown Baler. When in Sabang Beach, you can explore the place and get to see the different resorts and inns there. Our group is also planning to get back to Sabang Beach and try learning surfing then book a night in a resort with swimming pool.

Farther tourist destinations, such as Millenium Tree, Mother Falls, Ermita Hill, Cemento Beach and Diguisit Falls are far from each other. See maps for details. Ampere Beach is the farthest of them all. You will have to take the route going to Casiguran, Aurora and reach Ampere Beach in Dipaculao, Aurora.
