Pangasinan is one of the four provinces of Ilocos Region or Region I. In
this province live several tourist spots like golden beaches, hundreds of
scattered islands in the gulf, underground saltwater lakes, caves, rivers and
rock formations. Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine is in Central Pangasinan, and there
are a lot more old structures like churches built in the province. The name
Pangasinan means “land of salt”.

FUN FOOD TRIP
We haven’t tried eating in restaurants in Pangasinan but we enjoyed eating
grilled boneless bangus (milkfish) of Dagupan for our dinner in Bolinao.
Delicious! We also enjoyed eating our fresh-catch squid and eggplants, grilled
it for our dinner in Dasol. The best part there, we cooked and grilled our
food—more fun way to enjoy nature tripping in Pangasinan! Remember, Pangasinan
is home to fresh-catch seafood, so don’t miss buying them in the markets of the
province and later grill it for your dinner!
INNS/HOMESTAYS/RESORTS
In Dasol, Pangasinan, I suggest Benilda's Homestay. Check my post "Dasol's Tambobong Beach".
FESTIVAL
Alaminos hosts Gali-la Hundred Islands Festival, Dagupan celebrates Bangus
Festival and Bayambang is home to Malangsi Festival. I’ll try to attend to all
of the festivals soon.
