Part 3 of Dasol Hideaway (Another Pangasinan Island Hopping)
We woke up early in the morning and told the owner of the kubo to hire us a boat to tour around the different islands near Tambobong Beach. They did. And the deal was a tour to the different islands for a whole day (for P800). If you will be visiting Dasol, Pangasinan for the island hopping activity, you MUST be able to visit the Crocodile Island, Culebra/Collibra Island, Balinmanok Cove, a cave, and a Chinese shipwreck. Not less than what I listed. We were not able to visit all the tourist spots though (because we do not really know where exactly the tourist spots were and the boatman told us that the waves were rougher there :[ ). And because we didn’t bring any life jackets of sort, we did not complain. It’s just sad to know that some people were not really inclined to tourism. It’s like they don’t want us to come back again (because we did not really see all the nice tourist spots there). BUT it must not stop you on going to Dasol. You’ll just have to tell the boatman that you are the boss and you must be able to visit all the tourist spots. And definitely bring snorkels and life jackets to fully enjoy your adventure :].
The capacity of the boat we used was 5-6 persons. I was not able though to know whether they have larger boats there but I did see larger boats along the shore. Maybe if you are a group of more than 10 people, you can try looking for the larger boats and hire the boatman to tour you to the different tourist spots.
As I have said earlier, if your main destination in Dasol is Tambobong Beach, better set this aside as a compliment of your tour and better plan to visit the islands near it. The islands near it give you the real Dasol experience—and not just Tambobong Beach alone. The different islands offer the white sand beach good enough to compete with the one in Bolinao (and you’ll never regret about this), a dramatic view of rock formation on an island, a different shallow shipwreck snorkeling (we didn’t do this), swimming on turquoise waters, and caving.

What I enjoyed in the island hopping itself was the fact that we don’t have any life savers of any sort (and there’s the feeling that the boat goes unwell anytime haha). Luckily we did the island hopping safe and sound. For travelers and tourists who want to experience this Dasol experience, I do not recommend you to bring kids with you (particularly when you do not plan to bring any life jackets).
We started to take off at around 9:30 in the morning and the first destination was to get nearer to the Crocodile Island.
